ReRestricting Product Delivery to Specific Locations
Restrict product delivery to specific locations to ensure that the logistics operation only serves regions authorized by the company.
The first step to configure the Sales Regions is to access your platform’s admin panel.
Follow the steps below:
- Access the admin panel.
- In the side menu, locate the “Catalog” tab.
- Click on “Regions” to access the location configuration interface.
Note: The “Regions” feature is only available to users with administrator or catalog manager permissions.
2. Registering Sales Regions #
Creating a New Region #
On the Regions screen, click the “Create New” button.
Fill in the required fields:
- Region Name: An internal name to identify the registered region. (e.g., East Zone)
- City: Name of the city or municipality covered by this region. (e.g., São Paulo)
- State: The federal unit where the city is located. (e.g., SP for São Paulo)
- ZIP Code Range: Defines the range of ZIP codes that the region covers.
Example:
- From: 03000-000 (Start)
- To: 03999-999 (End)
- Status: Enabled
Click Save.
How to Find the Initial and Final ZIP Codes of a Region #
The process is simple and can be done using Google. Follow the steps below:
- Go to Google and search for:
"initial and final ZIP code of [city name]"
Example: initial and final ZIP code of São Paulo - The search result usually shows the ZIP code range for the queried city.
Example for São Paulo:- Initial ZIP code: 01000-000
- Final ZIP code: 05999-999
- Then, copy the numbers without dots, hyphens, or separators and fill them in the platform fields as follows:
- Initial ZIP Code: 01000000
- Final ZIP Code: 05999999
⚠️ Important: Enter only digits, without spaces or special characters. Make sure the range is correct to avoid overlap with other regions.
3. Restricting Product Availability by Region #
Specific products can also be restricted to certain regions.
To configure:
Save the product.
Go to Select and Sell > My Products for Sale.
Edit the desired product.
Scroll to the section “Available ONLY in the regions”.
Check the regions where the product can be delivered.
