Product Reviews Feature #

The reviews feature allows customers to leave feedback and evaluations about the products in your marketplace. This is a valuable tool to increase the store’s credibility and help other buyers in their decision-making process.
Depending on your business strategy, you can enable or disable this option at any time..

Enable or Disable Reviews #

Step by Step:

  1. Access your store’s admin panel.
  2. In the side menu, go to:
    Marketplace → Marketplace Management.
  3. Locate the option Product Reviews.
  4. Under Enable reviews, select:
    • Yes → enables reviews.
    • No → disables reviews.
  5. Under Requires approval:
    • Yes → all new reviews must be approved by the administrator or seller before appearing on the product page.
  6. Click Save Configuration in the upper-right corner.

Review Management #

Where to approve reviews:

  1. In the side menu, go to:
    Reports → Reviews → Product Reviews.
  2. Locate the desired review and evaluate whether it should be approved.
  3. In the Status field, select Approve or Disapprove.
  4. Click Save Review.

After approval, the review will appear at the bottom of the product page.

Best Practices #

  • Review periodically: keep moderation active to ensure reviews follow the store’s policies and rules.
  • Set up notifications: enable alerts for new reviews and respond quickly.
  • Analyze impact: use feedback, including negative comments, to improve products, descriptions, and customer service.
