An abandoned cart report is a tool that helps sellers better understand customer shopping behavior in their online store. It lists details about customers who added products to their cart but did not complete the purchase. The exported data includes the customer’s name, email, number of abandoned products, total quantity of items (sum of the quantities of each product), and the subtotal value of the items in the cart. This information allows sellers to identify abandonment patterns, communicate with customers to recover lost sales, and adjust their marketing strategies to improve conversion rates.
Navigate to the side menu and click on ‘Reports.’ Then, select ‘Marketplace Soulmkt Reports‘ and choose ‘Cart.’ Finally, click on Abandoned Cart.

On the page, you will be able to view the following fields:
Updated On: This field indicates the date and time of the last update to the cart, such as the last time an item was added or removed. It can be useful for understanding recent activity in the cart and the exact moment of abandonment.”
Customer Name: This field contains the name of the customer who abandoned the cart. Knowing the name helps personalize communication and makes cart recovery campaigns more effective and personal.
Email: The customer’s email is crucial for any cart recovery efforts, as it allows the store to contact the customer directly to remind them of the abandoned items, offer incentives, or provide additional assistance to complete the purchase.
Number of Products Abandoned in the Cart: This field indicates how many distinct products were added to the cart but not purchased. It helps understand the variety of products that attract customers and identify which items are most frequently left behind.
Quantity of Items: Refers to the total number of units of products abandoned in the cart. For example, if a customer abandoned two products with four units each, the total quantity of items would be eight. This field is useful for assessing the scale of abandonment and its potential impact on revenue.
Subtotal: This is the total value of the items in the abandoned cart before any taxes or additional fees. The subtotal helps identify potential revenue loss and prioritize recovery efforts based on the financial value of the abandoned items.
Applied Coupon: This field shows whether the customer applied any discount coupon to the cart before abandoning it. This can help assess the effectiveness of promotions and understand whether coupons influence abandonment behavior. Additionally, it can be useful for creating more attractive cart recovery strategies by offering additional coupons or similar incentives.
Created On: This field records the date and time when the cart was initially created. It helps track how long the cart was active before being abandoned and can provide insights into customer shopping behavior patterns.
