Overview #
To enhance the security of your account, it is required to enable two-step verification (also known as two-factor authentication) in the admin panel. This process uses the Google Authenticator app, which generates temporary and unique login codes.
When will this setup be requested? #
If you log in to the admin panel with your user account and have not yet configured two-step verification, you will be automatically redirected to the activation page.
Step 1 – Install the Google Authenticator App #
On the initial setup screen, you will see information about the requirement and two buttons linking to the app stores:
- Google Play Store – for Android devices
- Apple App Store – for iOS devices
Recommendation: Open this documentation directly from your phone to facilitate redirection to the stores and app installation.
Alternatively, you can open your mobile device’s app store and manually search for Google Authenticator.
How to install: #
- Open your device’s app store (Play Store or App Store).
- Search for Google Authenticator.
- Tap Install.
- Wait for the installation to complete.
Step 2 – Link the Authenticator to Your Account #
Once the app is installed, follow the steps below to link it to your account:
- Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device.
- Tap the + icon (lower right corner of the screen).
- Select the option Scan a QR code.
- Return to the admin panel in your browser.
- Click the button Set up Google Authenticator.
- A QR Code will appear on the screen.
- Point your phone’s camera at the QR Code to scan it.
- The app will begin generating 6-digit numeric codes automatically.
Important: These codes expire approximately every 30 seconds. A new code will be generated when the time runs out.
Step 3 – Confirm Authentication #
In the admin panel, after scanning the QR Code, click Continue.
- A new screen will prompt you to enter the 6-digit code.
- Wait for the next code to be generated (to ensure enough time) and enter it into the field.
- Click Confirm.
If the code is correct, authentication will be successfully completed, and you will be redirected to the admin panel.
Additional Tips #
- Always use the same device you used to set up Google Authenticator.
- In case of device loss, contact support to regain access.
- Do not uninstall the app before disabling two-factor authentication from your account.
